Hutt named a finalist for Business Excellence Award
Hutt is honored to have been named a finalist for the Business Excellence Award through the Hudsonville Area Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes outstanding businesses that excelled in their industry while contributing to the Hudsonville community. It also acknowledges businesses that demonstrate exceptional growth through the creation of jobs, revenue growth, innovative products and services, exemplary customer service, a focus on improving employee quality of life and volunteerism in the Hudsonville community.
“Hudsonville is a second home for Hutt and it’s been a pleasure being a part of that West Michigan community,” said Jim Hutt, owner and CEO of Hutt Trucking. “We’ve continued to look for ways to have a positive impact in the community that has supported us and we’re honored to receive this nomination for the Business Excellence Award.”
Our involvement in the West Michigan community started in 1985 and through the years, Hudsonville has been close to our hearts, ultimately leading to the purchase of our Hudsonville facility in 2016. Since then, we’ve added 81,000-square-feet to our existing building, more than doubling our deep-frozen food capacity.
That expansion added over 20 full-time jobs at the warehouse and 10 more positions within our transportation company.
The Hudsonville Area Chamber of Commerce is announcing the winner of the Business Excellence Award at this year’s MEAL: The Awards banquet, held at the Pinnacle Center on June 20.
Thank you to the Hudsonville Area Chamber of Commerce for this nomination and we look forward to the upcoming banquet and the opportunity to honor other West Michigan businesses.
