Outsourcing the logistics function can free up resources to focus on core competencies. Used as an extension of the client, HTC Logistics manages the process, personnel, and technology.

Even if a company does have the resources available, another organization within the supply chain may be able to do it better, simply because of their relative position in the supply chain, their experience in managing the supply chain process, or their economies of scale.
